...ask if he still had the addiction.
...how long he's had it.
...go over some WT articles.
...tell him to pray earnestly to Jehovah.
...meet with him in a month or two to find out how he's doing.
...tell him that if he didn't stop he'd face disciplinary action.
...disfellowship him for his bad actions.
Of course, if any of you former or current JW's have had an actual experience with substance abuse, please share with us how it was handled with the local elders.

If U "Bugged" Bethel: What Would U Hear?

i'm just curious to know if there would be anything sensational to discover if you somehow managed to listen in on or record a meeting of the "power" elite at bethel or a gb session.. would you just be listening to some senile old men droning on about the bible or do you think it would be something that would be scandalous to the max for your average dub?

i know that c of c talked a bit about the meetings the gb had and for the most part it sounded pretty boring to me.

but i wonder where the really juicy stuff is talked about?

i thought it might be a good idea to find out at what age or after how long we descided to leave the watchtower.. prehaps we my find a patern in it which we could use .. i think what we need to know are ,.

1.age you left the watchtower.

(or age you found out it was wrong).

i firmly believe that peppermint patty in the "peanuts" cartoons was gay.

she was pretty much a tomboy and did you ever notice that patty's friend marcy always called her "sir" even though patty was a girl?

when you read the book crisis of conscience how instrumental was that book in getting you to leave the organisation.. i have a gf who is an active jw.... i by the way am wordly.

this religion thing is putting strain on our relationship.. she condems me for obtaining information about the watchtower from apostates or just about anyone who has something yo say about the org.
